Harriett Rodgers

Rodgers, Harriett A., 94, of Springfield, died at 8:18 p.m. Monday, June 24, 2013 in the Springfield Masonic Community. She was born in New York, New York on April 28, 1919 the daughter of Carl and Florence (Derby) Tungate. She worked as a secretary at Kenyon College for many years before retiring in 1983. She was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church. Survivors include two sons, Daniel and John Rodgers; grandson, Jay; sister, Marian McDonald; brother, George Tungate and niece, Gayle Peters. She was preceded in death by her husband, James in 1981, two sisters, Alice Wadsworth and Dorothy Davidson and brother, Edward Tungate. Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Fr. William Kramer officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Teresa Church.
