Gordn Russell Woodell

Woodell, Gordon Russell, 54, of Springfield, passed away Monday, June 16, 2014 in his home. He was born May 1, 1960 in Whiteville, NC the son of Gordon J. and Etta M. (Smith) Woodell. Survivors include his daughter, Lavetta (Da'Shawn) Howard Stone, Dayton, OH; two stepchildren, Ashley Grooms and D.J. Blaha; six grandchildren; two sisters, Juanita Woodell and Judy Sigmon; and numerous nieces and nephews, including Annette, Etta and Soraya Woodell. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl, one nephew, and two sisters. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at The Rock Church, 1025 W. High St., Springfield, OH with Pastor Rob Martin officiating. Arrangements by Conroy Funeral Home.
