Gloria Ragan

Ragan, Gloria, 91, of Springfield, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2014 in her home. Gloria was born December 9, 1922 in Cincinnati to George and Florence (Ruehlmann) Neuman. She worked at Ridgewood and St. John's Nursing Homes for many years and was a member of Highlands United Church of Christ. She was an avid walker who also enjoyed bowling at Victory Lanes and was a volunteer with Meals on Wheels. Survivors include two children, Ronald James Ragan and Donna Gail Ragan; two grandchildren, Beth (Jeremy) Brant and Todd (Aletta) Edwards-Ragan; four great grandchildren, Tanner, Parker, Damien and Celeste; a niece, Judy, and two nephews, Paul and Don. She was preceded in death by one son, Robert Alan; and three siblings, George, II, Jerry and Beatrice. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 1-2 p.m. in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME, with the funeral service beginning at 2 p.m. Entombment will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
