Glenn E. "Tink" Gerhardt

Gerhardt, Glenn E. "Tink", 85, of Lakeview, OH, formerly of Springfield, passed away February 2, 2014 in the Ohio Masonic Home. He was born May 25, 1928 in Pickaway County, OH to Edward H. and Ethel M. (Stevenson) Gerhardt. Glenn retired as a machinist from Cooper Energy. He was a member of the Moose Lodge. Survivors include three children and spouses, Kathleen (Larry) Keating, Sandra (Leo "Dude") Foster and Edward Gerhardt; four grandchildren, Jason Keating, Cora (Jeremy) Rinehart, Faith Foster and Joshua (Shannon) Foster; five great grandchildren; five sisters, Doris Anne (Ron) Hidy, Marilyn (John) Roberts, Karen (Don) Wolfe, Janet Gibson and Gloria (Alan) Gabriel; four brothers, Charles (Anna Belle) Gerhardt, Harold Gerhardt, Gerald (Suzy) Gerhardt, and Richard (Karen) Gerhardt; numerous nieces and nephews; and Connie and Lori Ash whom Glenn and Marita cared for like their own children. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marita R. in 1992, two sisters and one brother. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Bud Rose officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will be in Rose Hill Mausoleum. Memorial donations may be made to the Springfield Regional Cancer Center.
