Gladys Christine (Organ) Rhoads

Rhoads, Gladys Christine (Organ), 98, of Springfield, passed away at 3:58 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2019 in the Springfield Masonic Community. She was born in North Lewisburg, Ohio on July 25, 1920 the daughter of Henry and Amanda (Spain) Organ. She retired from Security National Bank in 1980 after 25 years of service. She was a member of Faith in Christ Lutheran Church. Survivors include her two sons, Jack (Beverly) Rhoads and Jeff (Jane) Rhoads; four grandchildren, Robin Smith, Jay Rhoads, Gretchen Clohessy and Natalie Walkup; 10 great grandchildren and sister, Nancy Stewart. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel in 2010 and seven siblings, Crystal Dooley, Emma Huffman, Ethel Mae Summers, George, William, James and Lee Earl Organ. Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Wednesday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Lee officiating. Entombment will be in Rose Hill Mausoleum.
