Geraldine "Gerri" Neer

NEER, Geraldine "Gerri", 89, of Springfield, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 14, 2017 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. Gerri was born October 19, 1928 in Williamsport, OH to Ernest Earl and Anna (Wills) Christopher. She was a born again Christian with a strong faith in God. Survivors include five daughters, Donnette Bower, Shirle Briggs, Diane Everage, Melanie Kern and Jodi Kern; 14 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; one brother, Earl Christopher; one son-in-law, Tony Gillaugh; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend and caregiver, Betty. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald in 2003; siblings, Alice Lee, Gene, Tom, Orey and Hebert; and one grandson, Kevin. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Marty Dennis officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior, beginning at 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Entombment will be held in Rose Hill Burial Park.
