George F. Zink

ZINK, George Francis, 77, of Cincinnati (formerly of Springfield), passed away April 15, 2023.  George was born in Springfield, Ohio on July 14, 1945 the son of Frank J. and Elizabeth A. (Gude) Zink.  He graduated from Bellefontaine High School and University of Dayton.  He retired from Palm Beach Clothing Co. in Cincinnati.  George is survived by his wife Catherine Holiday and her loving Broderick and Holiday families; his brother, Joseph (Mary Margaret) Zink; ten Zink and Godar nieces and nephews and two cousins, Sheila (Ryan) Pauly and Adele (Ryan) Borns.  He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Margaret “Margie” Zink Godar and her husband, Joseph Godar, a special uncle, Fr. George Gude, Elizabeth (Ryan) Manning and Bill Pauly.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 pm on Monday in St. Teresa Catholic Church, 1827 N. Limestone St., Springfield, Ohio 45504.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Cincinnati.
