George Richard Hiller

Hiller, George Richard, 89, of Springfield, passed away Monday, August 12, 2024 in Ohio’s Masonic Home. George was born July 25, 1935 in Springfield, Ohio, the son of John K. and Anna M. (Blazes) Hiller. He was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from Beach Manufacturing. George was also a member of St. Teresa Church and the Clark Lodge # 101 F&AM. Survivors include four children, Debbie (Randy) Shrum, Kim Long, Heidi (Bart) Loshbaugh and Nathan Hiller; grandchildren, Amanda (Jeremy) Garrett, Nicholas (Danielle) Shrum, Chelsey Long, Bodie Loshbough and Lexie Hiller; great grandchildren, Cody Garrett, Levi Garret and Ava Ann Shrum; two sisters, Mary Hirst and Katherine Crabtree; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Barb Souders; brother, John Hiller, Jr.; and first wife, Frances M. Hiller. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Teresa Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior, beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the church. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery. Arrangements by CONROY FUNERAL HOME.
