George D. "Doug" Hixon

Hixon, George D. "Doug," 58, of New Carlisle, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. Doug was born October 31, 1958 in Springfield, OH to George G. and Sondra (Borchert) Hixon. He retired from Yost Superior Spring Co. after 32 years. Survivors, in addition to his parents, include his loving wife, Terri; three children, Amanda (Ben) Montgomery, Jessica (Gary) Neff and Justin Hixon; four grandchildren, Dominique, Natalie and Quinten Neff, and Jase Montgomery; two brothers, Michael (Tracy) Hixon and Paul Hixon; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Kevin Moehn officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Vale Cemetery.
