Gary Lee Brewer, Jr.

BREWER, Gary Lee, Jr., 41, of Springfield, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019. Gary was born May 29, 1977 in Springfield, Ohio to Gary and Kathy (Eanes) Brewer, Sr. He loved shooting pool with friends, fishing, riding his motorcycle, and was a budding golfer. Gary also enjoyed watching the Cincinnati Reds, Notre Dame and the Green Bay Packers. Gary was survived by three daughters, Katelynn Brewer, Hayley Brewer and Madeline Asper; one grandson, Jax Asper; longtime companion, Heather Langen; one sister, Keisha (Gary Frost) Bement; one niece, Brionna; aunts, Kim and Linda; and numerous extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathy Brewer; his maternal grandparents, Tom and Nancy Ivory; paternal grandparents, Alma and John Brewer; and a son, Alexander Lee Brewer. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in Riversong Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior in the church, beginning at 10 a.m.
