Gary Beegle

Beegle, Gary Edward, 65, of Springfield, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Good Shepherd Village. Gary was born in Springfield on September 7, 1948 to Pearl Edward Beegle and Martha Arlene (Brumfield) Thompson. He was a veteran of the United States Army, where he served in Vietnam, and later worked for Navistar for 30 years. Gary is survived by his mother, Arlene; two children, Missy (Charles) Immel and Chad (Tricia) Beegle; one brother, Larry (Barbara) Beegle; one sister, Pat Hale; one granddaughter; two step-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and good friend, Nick Heaton. He was preceded in death by his father, Pearl Edward Beegle and a son, Sean Beegle. His funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Jeff Mullinix officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
