Frances Jean "B.J." Yontz

Yontz, Frances Jean "B.J.", 90, of Springfield, died July 12, 2014 in her residence. She was born June 19, 1924 in Springfield, OH to John J. and Nettie (Myers) Burke. B.J. was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and served on their bereavement committee for a number of years. She volunteered at Mercy Medical Center with several Guilds including the Fr. Bernard Guild; enjoyed Facebook, Words with Friends, Skype and family pictures. Survivors include three children and spouses, John and Carol Yontz, Los Gatos, CA, Connie Little, Springfield, and Chris and Marianne Yontz, Brentwood, TN; daughter in law, Carol Yontz; 13 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; in-laws, Joan Yontz and Jerry and Patty Yontz; numerous nieces, nephews; and dear friend, Bill Beach. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, in 2004, two sons, James and Joseph Yontz, a grandson, Jeff, two sisters, Ruth Mansfield and Mary Burke, and a brother, John Burke. Friends may call in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Church with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Miami Valley or Starkey Hearing Foundation.
