Flora (Zimmeck) Leipold

Mrs. Flora (Zimmeck) Leipold, 95, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2013 at the Eaglewood Care Center in Springfield, Ohio. Mrs. Leipold was the daughter of Emil and Caroline (Klaus) Zimmeck and a lifetime resident of Springfield, Ohio. Mrs. Leipold was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Leipold, her brothers, Frederick Zimmeck and Charles Gruntz; and sisters Helen ( Nigh) Priest, Margaret (Gruntz) Hughes, and Anna Garrety. Mrs. Leipold is survived by her daughter Joyce and husband Steven Hackett of Campton, New Hampshire; grandson Marc and Lisa Hackett of Frederick Maryland, granddaughter Michele Hackett of Fairfax, Virginia, and great grandsons Jake and Luke Hackett of Frederic Maryland. She leaves behind nieces Mrs. Caroline Stickford, Mrs. Judy Bailey, Mrs. Janet Hogue and Ms. Meta Zimmeck and nephews John Hughes, Charles Gruntz, George Garrety and Steven Zimmeck. Mrs. Leipold was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the Catholic Ladies of Columbia. Funeral service will be private. Donations may be made to Crossroads Hospice, Dayton, Ohio and the Clark County Humane Society. Arrangements are being handled by the CONROY FUNERAL HOME.
