Evelyn M. Powers

Powers, Evelyn M., 85, of Springfield, OH died June 17, 2013 in Vancrest Health Care Center, Urbana, OH. She was born December 20, 1927 in Galloway, OH to Joseph J. and Ethel B. (Madden) Cardosi. Evelyn worked for a number of years as a teller for Miami Deposit Bank and later retired from the Village of Yellow Springs, OH. Survivors include two sons and spouses, Steve (Merrelyn) Powers, Springfield, and Randy (Merry) Powers, Mutual, OH; a son in law, Dick Wollenhaupt, Centerville, OH; three grandchildren, Lori Fulk, Brent Bushu and Andrew Powers; and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward L., a daughter, Judith Lynn Wollenhaupt, and a granddaughter, Amy Stanley. The family would like to express their appreciations to their many friends and caregivers. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
