Baumgardner, Eunice Emily (Zinn), 92, of Springfield, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Hearth and Home Harding Road. Eunice was born on July 18, 1923, the daughter of Edgar B. and Althea (Bowser) Zinn. She was a lifetime member of the Donnels Creek Church of the Brethren and a member of the New Carlisle Church of the Brethren. She was married to the love of her life, Ralph Baumgardner, for nearly 70 years. Together they built a very successful dairy business in Clark County. Eunice worked side by side with her husband in the family business while raising her family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her joy in life was her family. She radiated sweetness and love to all around her. She will be greatly missed by her surviving family, four children, Elaine Stevenson (Bob Yingst), Kay Baumgardner, Jo Ann (Bill) Stapleton and John (Cathy) Baumgardner; 11 grandchildren, Jon (Jill) Stevenson, Mike (Dana) Stevenson, Kristin (Gerry) Grogan, Keith Mumma, Jason Trostel, Joe(Hope) Baumgardner, Jackie (Ben) Bahun, Katie (Joel) McCloskey, Hannah (Seth) Jones, Becky (Jesse) Janek and Nathan Baumgardner; 20 great grandchildren; a sister, Eva Miller; sister-in-law, Eileen Harsh and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, son, Jay, sister, Mildred, son-in-laws, Gary Stevenson and Dan Holdeman. The family would like to thank the staff at Hearth and Home Harding Road and Hospice of the Miami Valley for their wonderful and loving care. Private services will be held Thursday at the convenience of the family. Interment will be held in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to Donnels Creek Church of the Brethren or Hospice of the Miami Valley. Arrangements are being handled by the CONROY FUNERAL HOME.
