Ethel Evans

EVANS, Ethel H., 93, of Springfield, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014 in Springfield Masonic Community. She was born August 9, 1920 in Akron, Ohio the daughter of Acie and Opal (Jewell) Hays, Sr. Ethel worked at the Kissel Company in Akron for a number of years. Survivors include her one daughter, Cheryl & Robert Krasovic, Springfield; three grandchildren, Jennifer & Brian Eubank, Mary Krasovic and Robert & Ashley Krasovic; one brother, Acie & Helen Hays, Jr., Akron; several nieces and nephews, Beth McGarry, Christy Gray, Cheri Wurst, Rebecca Witten, Jason Witten and Heather Shrum. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael D. Evans in 1968, three sisters, Ruth Jenks, Judith Collins, Delores Dicky and a niece, Leslie Cullen. A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 31, 2014 in Standing Rock Cemetery, Kent, OH.
