Hull, Esther L., 98, of Springfield went to be with the Lord, Sunday March 1, 2015. She was born on April 13, 1916 in Harmony, Ohio, the daughter of George and Jessie (Trout) Butler. She graduated from Plattsburg High School in 1934. She was a member of Harmony Methodist Church most of her life and was the President of the Church Adult Guild for a number of years. She is known for her amazing cooking skills and won several cooking contests. Her flower gardens were the envy of the Pike neighborhood. Her passion was her love for her seven little girls. She is survived by her son Gary Hull; granddaughters Wendy (Andrew) Chetcuti, Jodi (John) Fisher; Great Granddaughters Ashley (Luke) Casto, Madison, Mariah, and Makensie Fisher; Great-Great Granddaughter Kinlee Grace Casto; daughter-in-law Grace Dibert; sister Joanne Rucker; special nieces, Candy Hull Wilson, Lisa Massie, and many other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 48 years, James Orville Hull; Brothers, James and Charles Butler; Sisters, Isabel Barker, Mary Dell Young and Martha Williams, and grandson in law, Thomas Slouffman. Special thanks to her Villa aide, Michele Robinson. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2015 in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Kevin Hull officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Private burial will be in Fletcher Chapel Cemetery.
