Elnora Jean Parker

Parker, Elnora Jean, 80, of Springfield, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 in her home. Jean was born May 16, 1936 in Springfield, Ohio to Mautz and Alice E. (Patton) Henderson. She was a graduate of Springfield High, and later worked as a Dispatcher for Circle Cab. She is survived by two children, Robert "Rocky" (Susie) Scheerschmidt and Curtis (Tammy) Scheerschmidt; five grandchildren, Sara Scheerschmidt, Katie (Lawrence) Kemp, Amy (Jason) Marshall, Curtis (Brittany) Scheerschmidt, II and Matthew Scheerschmidt; nine grandchildren; one brother, Mautz (Barbara) Henderson; three nephews; and special friend, Paul Jones. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Bill Blain officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior in the funeral home, beginning at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Memorial donations may be made to the Animal Welfare League.
