BURKHARDT, Elizabeth A., 99, of Springfield, passed away Friday, November 14, 2014 in her home. She was born January 16, 1915 in Springfield, the daughter of Lithuanian immigrants, Anthony and Konstancya (Baczenas) Gogas. She had worked at Mercy Medical Center as a dietary technician for over 20 years and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Survivors include one daughter and spouse; Anne & Tim Cauley, Springfield; three step-grandchildren, Tim Cauley, Jr., Paul Cauley and Lois Penhorwood; several step great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emil H. in 1983, her parents, a brother, George Gogas, a sister, Josephine Roberts and a step-great granddaughter. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday in St. Joseph Catholic Church.
