Weber, Eleanor D., 88, a long time Springfield resident, passed away December 1, 2016 in Brighton Gardens of Washington Township. Eleanor was born July 7, 1928 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Anthony and Louise (Glod) Wojciechowski. She was a graduate of Springfield High School, and worked for many years in Dr. Horton's medical office. She was also an accomplished cook and seamstress, and always looked forward to her trips with Howdy to Las Vegas. Survivors include two daughters, Valerie (Art) Meyer and Vicki (Ron) Linville; four grandchildren, Jessica Meyer, Ele (fiance, Ashley St. John Hart) Meyer, Kelsey (Matt) McKillop and Nicholas (fiance, Grace Hardy) Linville; a brother, Walter Glod; a sister, Ileana Garrigan; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Howdy Weber; a brother, Stanley Wojciechowski; and a nephew, Michael Wojciechowski. Her family will miss her and are grateful for how she encouraged them. The family would like to thank the staff at Brighton Gardens in Washington Township and Hospice of Dayton for their wonderful care and kindness.
