Hensley, Elbert L. "Everett", 85 of Springfield, passed away at 9:10 p.m. Saturday, October 10, 2015 in his home. He was born in Barbourville, Kentucky on May 1, 1930 the son of Robert and Nellie (Disney) Hensley. He was a truck driver for Wilson Freight in South Charleston for many years. Survivors include his wife, Ruth M. (Williams); two daughters and son-in-law, Beckie Hensley and Peggy L. (David) Henson all of Springfield; five grandchildren, Vince Davis, Shawn Coffee, Christopher Davis, Jason Davis and Sandy Lewis; 19 great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Cox; two sisters, Sharon Turner and Diane Pemberton and a host of other family members and friends. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME. His funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home with Pastors Bob Stapleton and Wally Mason officiating. Entombment will be in Rose Hill Mausoleum.
