Edwin E. "Gene" Levering

Levering, Edwin E. "Gene", 81, went to be with the Lord on December 22, 2014 in his home surrounded by his children and loved ones. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Margaret (Hobson) Levering; parents Asa and Sarah Levering; one brother, James; and daughter-in-law Sue Levering. Survivors include his wife, Cheryl; children, Rebecca (Cecil) Cosby, Ronda Markel, Tom Levering and Margaret (Jason) Borders; stepson, Jonathon (Amber) Pence; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and special niece Evelyn Pollard of AR. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Rick Clos officiating. Visitation will begin an hour prior. Burial to follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
