Edwin D. Robbins

Robbins, Edwin D., 68, of Springfield, passed away Friday, January 22, 2016 in the Springfield Regional Medical Center. Edwin was born April 24, 1947 in Ridgeway, OH to Russell T. and Margaret C. (Dorn) Robbins. He retired as a Fleet Manager for the City of Springfield after 34 years. He served in the United States Navy, was a member of the Buckeye Club and was also an avid drag racer. Survivors include his wife, Yvonne; one son, Edwin (Katrina) Robbins, Jr.; four siblings, Ronald (Jennifer) Robbins, Marilyn Kepford, Gary (Pat) Robbins and Janice King; several nieces and nephews; and a brother-in-law, Monte Maiolo. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Bill; and a sister, Mary. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 3:00 p.m. in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Bill Blain officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior starting at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
