Edward A. "Al" Tehan, III

TEHAN, III, Edward A. "Al", 85, of Springfield, passed away Friday, July 14, 2017 in his home. Al was born February 6, 1932 in Springfield, OH the son of Edward A. and Lucille (Schafer) Tehan, II. He was the Owner and President of Trenor Motor Co. Springfield, OH for 50 years, retiring in 2004. He was also a member of St. Teresa Church, a past member of the Springfield Country Club, a member of the Cadillac-LaSalle Club, an avid antique car enthusiast and collector, and a Korean Conflict Veteran of the United States Army. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Julia A. (Trenor); two children, Eddie (Nancy) Tehan, Springfield, and Susan (Steve) Barrickman, Hilliard, OH; son-in-law, Bob Poe, Lebanon, OH; seven grandchildren, Michael (Bonnie) Tehan, Patrick (Melissa) Tehan, Molly (Jon) Karch, Kate and Leah Barrickman, and Jennifer and Austin Poe; six great grandchildren; two siblings, Madelyn Conrad, Burnsville, MN, and Gerald "Jerry" Tehan, Springfield; sister-in-law, Mary Anita Tehan, Cable, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Martina A. Poe; and a brother, Roger. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4 - 7 p.m. in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Teresa Church. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.
