Edna Ross

ROSS, Edna I., 99, of Springfield, passed away October 19, 2013 in Springfield, Regional Medical Center. She was born August 18, 1914 in Clark County, Ohio the daughter of Horace Lee and Edith Mae (Cosler) Beatty. Edna graduated from Springfield High School and later attended Springfield Business College. She retired from Northeastern School District and was a member of Northridge Lionesses. Survivors include a daughter, Kathleen Maddux, Springfield and a son, Robert Ross, Greensboro, NC; four grandchildren, Joseph and Terri Ross, Tonya Perkins and Nichole Webb; numerous great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; a daughter-in-law, Nancy Ross and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Francis "Frank" in 1996, two sons, Dennis and Kenneth Ross and one great granddaughter, Morgan Perkins. Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. at Calvary Cemetery Chapel.
