FEESER-STEWART, Edith E. "Edie", 84, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2013 in her residence. She was born August 11, 1929 in Greene County the daughter of Floyd W. and Jeanette C. (Comford) Johnson. She had worked as a nurse technician at Community Hospital for over 19 years retiring in 1989. Edie was a member of the V.F.W. #1031 Auxiliary, F.O.E. #397 Auxiliary and the R&M Social Club. Survivors include six children and spouses, Debbie Campbell, Cynthia (Tim Johns) Fernung, Robert & Tammy Feeser II, Kris "Feezy" & Sharon Feeser, Albert Feeser, Tina & Mark Ryan, all of Springfield; one step-daughter, Pamela & Dale Derr, Centerville; eight grandchildren, Amy (Teresa), Sarah (Mike), Andrew, Stephanie (Joey), Katy, Joel, Bobby (Christa) and Jennifer (Chris); three great grandsons, Jase, Bryson and Noah; three step grandchildren, Evan (Jessica), Emily and Jeremy (Babs); one brother, Robert & Janie Stoughton, South Solon; numerous nieces and nephews and her faithful canine companion, Rusty Joe. She was preceded in death by her first husband and the love of her life, Robert Feeser, her second husband, Russell Stewart and a brother, Gene Johnson. The family would like to thank Dr. Marvin Narcelles, all the staff at Springfield Regional Medical Center and Community-Mercy Hospice for their loving care over these past few years. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 12 to 2 p.m. in the Conroy Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. following the visitation. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Memorial donations may be made to Clark County Humane Society or Community-Mercy Hospice. In the words of Edie, "A girls gotta sparkle".
