Dr. Paul E. Andorfer, Sr.

Andorfer, Dr. Paul E., Sr, of Springfield, passed away on February 14, 2014 in his home. He was born on March 25, 1941 in Ft. Wayne, IN to Leonard J. and Blanche (Mock) Andorfer. Paul attended Marmion Academy, St. Joseph's College and Indiana University, where he received his medical degree. He worked as an Anesthesiologist for Community Hospital, and later had his own pain management practice. Survivors include his wife, Mary S. "Sue" Andorfer; six children, Dana Williams, P.J. Andorfer, Tonya Odadzin, Chris Andorfer, Jacob Andorfer and Nathan Andorfer; 14 grandchildren; one great granddaughter; one step-son, Brad (Amber) Swords; one brother, Phil (Terry) Andorfer; and one step-sister, Kathy (Bill) Kemle. Paul was preceded in death by a son, Kirk; his step mother, Mabel Claybaugh; two brothers, Steve and Bill; and a sister, Lois "Boots" Funk. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4 - 7 p.m. in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Dwight McCormick officiating.
