Dr. Dennis P. Sullivan

Sullivan, Dr. Dennis P., 67, of Springfield, passed away Monday, September 26, 2016 in his home. He was born July 23, 1949 in Springfield to John and Barbara (Huffman) Sullivan. He graduated from Catholic Central High School in 1967 and later graduated from The Ohio State University Medical School and began working as a Neurologist at Mercy Hospital in 1979. He was also a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Joni (Parker); five sons, Michael (Traci) Sullivan, John "Paddy" Sullivan, Joseph (Jessica) Sullivan, Brendan (fiance, Leah) Sullivan and Andrew Sullivan and seven grandchildren, Ava, Cash, Poppy, Reilly, Maddilyn, Brooklyn and Teagan. He was preceded in death by his brother, Kevin in 2011. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday (today) in St. Teresa Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. He wished to thank the scores of people who have been so supportive not just during his recent illness, but also for every day for nearly 40 years of medical practice.
