Steiner, Dorothy, 89, of Springfield, passed away Monday, January 8, 2018. She was born July 23, 1928, the daughter of Willard and Olive (Birt) Evilsizor. She was a 1946 graduate of Enon High School, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and attended First Christian Church. She worked at Levine Realty for a number of years, retiring at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. She was a very caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was an avid lover of cross stitching and visiting with her friends. Survivors include her son, Nick Steiner of Springfield; two daughters-in-law, Laura Steiner of Canton, Ohio and Linda Steiner of Springfield; sister, Vicki Platz; two sisters-in-law, Shirley and Joan Evilsizor; 12 grandchildren, Dana, Joshua (Crystal), Brian (Laura), Emily, Jason (Lindsay), Julie (Adam), Megan (Josh), Allyson (Dustin), Adam (Katie), Kaylee, Taylor (Sean) and Jacob; 13 great grandchildren, Aaron, Quentin, Aurora, McKenzie, Hudson, Remington, Carson, Charleigh, Titus, Linley, Griffin, Bailee and Bentley and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Adam; two sons, Chuck and Ed; sister, Virgie Tucker and three brothers, Russell, Robert and Richard. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph Church. Burial will be in Calvary Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the City of Springfield Paramedic Fund.
