Dorothy M. Wilson

WILSON, Dorothy M., 85, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2018 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 21, 1933 in Hamilton, Ohio the daughter of Ernest and Anna (Shiflet) Stiehl. She attended schools in Hamilton and Nursing School in Springfield. Dorothy worked at Community and Mercy Hospitals as an L.P.N. for many years. Survivors include her five children, George E. & Sue Wilson, Clara & Tim Howdyshell, Paul & Valerie Wilson, Mary & Roger Taylor and Phyllis Wilson; ten grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Portwood and Phyllis Campbell. She was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter, Jill and two grandsons, Thurmon and Travis. Dorothy wanted to thank all her family for the highs and lows in life. She wouldn't change a thing. She loves each and every one of you the same, even her favorites. Dorothy would also like to thank Dr. Singh and all of his office staff for being so kind and putting up with my changing and grumpy moods. Visitation will be held on Monday from 12:00 to 1:00 pm in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Mary Perry officiating. Entombment will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
