Dorothy Hennis

HENNIS, Dorothy, 82, formerly of Springfield, passed away February 15, 2017 in Xenia, OH. She was born January 11, 1935 in Greenfield, OH the daughter of Daniel and Lula (Shoemaker) Crothers. Dorothy worked as a licensed nursing assistant for Hope House Manor for 10 years retiring in 1997. Survivors include 3 children, Rhonda Pollard, Rick Pollard and Mark & Shirley Pollard; 16 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband William in 1991, 2 daughters, Deborah Jones and Connie Press, 2 sons, Danny Pollard and Mike Pollard and a granddaughter, Crystal Adams. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Dave Culver officiating. Visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
