Dorothy A. Trempe

Trempe, Dorothy A., 101, of Springfield, passed away at 5:05 p.m. Thursday, August 24, 2017 in Oakwood Village. She was born in Springfield on March 24, 1916 the daughter of Frank J. and Lottie (Steinebrunner) Brugger. She was a 1934 graduate of Catholic Central High School, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Catholic Ladies of Columbia Council 56 and Elderly United. Survivors include her four children and spouses, Kathleen (Fred) Miller, Michael Trempe and Victoria Chase, James (Joan) Trempe and Thomas (Erin) Trempe; grandchildren, Lisa (Don) Hunter, Beth (Scott) Woolf, Michael (Karen) Trempe, Matthew (Andria) Trempe, Mark Trempe and Myles (Samantha) Trempe, Alex (Alexandra Suchman) Trempe, Chris (Crystal) and Katie Trempe, Kevin (Lexi) Ttrempe, Claire and Frannie Trempe; 12 great grandchildren; brother, Jack Brugger and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank in 1992; grandson, Donald Miller; daughter-in-law, Maxine Trempe. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Monday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph Church. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
