Doris M. Gray

Gray, Doris Marie, 80, of Enon, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on August 18, 2015. She was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on December 1, 1934, the daughter of Harry and Frances George. Doris dedicated her entire life to caring for others. Her mother died young and she helped raise her four siblings, then raised her own three children as a military wife who had to move her children all over and care for them on her own while her husband was serving our country. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, Dale E. Gray. As a grandma and great-grandma she was a constant source of love, support and laughter for all who called her "Nana". She was at her happiest when surrounded by her family. She is survived by her daughter Debra (Dale) Gentry of Donnelsville and their children Bradley (Leah) Gentry, Jennifer (Kevin) Dillion and Mallory (Jeb) Leggett; two sons, David Gray of Enon and his daughter Shannon (Mike) Bookhardt of Florida: and Darrel (Kristie) of Enon and their children Travis (Devin) Gray, Kalee Gray and Tyler Gray; and special granddaughter-in-law, Kim Gentry; six great-granddaughters, two great grandsons and two brothers, Jerry and Robert of Michigan. She is preceded in death by her late husband Dale Gray; her parents, Harry and Frances George; a great-granddaughter, Naomi Williams, and two sisters, Joyce (George) Leighton and Margaret George. In lieu of services, her family will have a cookout to celebrate her life in September, 2015.
