Doris E. Scott

Scott, Doris E., 92, of Centerville, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2015 in the St. Leonard Franciscan Living Community. Doris was born September 9, 1922 in Springfield, OH to Benjamin and Elizabeth (Singer) Albin. She is survived by a son, William M. Scott of Centerville; one granddaughter, Julianna R. Scott; one daughter-in-law, Cheryl A. Maguire; one sister-in-law, Betty Scott; three nieces, Ann Tulleners, Toni Humphreys Gordley and Maureen Scott Wasson; two nephews, Joe Lee Scott and Keith (Connie) Humphreys; great nieces and nephews, Gary Carroll, Theresa Carroll Carter, Larry Carroll and Lindsey Appel; and a cousin, John Singer, Jr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph J. Scott; and a sister, Thelma Albin Thacker. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday in St. Mary Catholic Church, Urbana. Visitation will begin one hour prior in the church. Burial will be held in Ferncliff Cemetery. Arrangements handled by CONROY FUNERAL HOME.
