Dorcas J. Torrenga

TORRENGA, Dorcas J., 82, of Springfield, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2016 in Pathways at Ohio Masonic Home. She was born June 14, 1934 in Youngstown, Ohio the daughter of Maynard A. and Shirlie (Canedy) Stull. She worked as a kindergarten teacher at St. John's Lutheran Day School for many years and also worked in the jewelry departments at Service Merchandise and Osterman Jewelers in the Upper Valley Mall. Survivors include four children and spouses, James W. & Jane Skogstrom, Kim Strobel, Laura & Mark Siemon and Julie & Stacey Pavlatos; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one brother, Dr. James Stull and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John in 2015 and her parents. A Memorial Service will be held in the Stull Chapel at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on Friday, December 30, 2016 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Dan Powell officiating.
