Donald R. "Donnie" Perkins

PERKINS, Donald R. “Donnie”, 70, of Springfield, passed away December 24, 2024 in The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He was born March 13, 1954 in Springfield the son of Harold and Norma Jean (Thompson) Perkins. Donnie retired from Pentaflex in 2015 after 30 years. He was a member at the Union Club, Elks #51, Moose Lodge and VFW #1031 and 3660. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Theresa “Terry” (Becht); one son, Troy Perkins; 3 siblings, Barry & Pamela Perkins, Robin Sheeley and Cheryl & Donald Payne; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends, too many to count. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Chris and a sister, Crystal Rodgers. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Rick Clos officiating. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior from 12:00-2:00 pm in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to your favorite charity.
