Diane K. Needles

Needles, Diane K., 70, of Springfield, passed away Monday, November 23, 2015 in her home. Diane was born November 28, 1944 in Springfield, OH to Edward J. and Mary Melina (Johnston) Herzog. She was a 1963 graduate of Catholic Central High School and a member of St. Bernard Church. She retired from Frigidaire in 1998. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Robert L. Needles; three children, Robert W. (Anne) Needles and their children, Rachael and Morgan, Susan (Greg) Ellis and their children, Olivia, Samantha, Victoria and Maxwell, and John A. (Barbara) Needles and their children, Alexander and Katie; three siblings, Geraldine (Bob) Gallagher, Lynne (Ken) Butcher and Michael (Paula) Herzog; one sister-in-law, Marlene Herzog and numerous nieces and nephews; She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Larry. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Friday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home with Deacon Norm Horstman officiating. Entombment will be held in Rose Hill Burial Park. The family would like to thank Community Mercy Home Health Care for their dedicated care. Memorial donations may be made to Community Mercy Hospice.
