Diane Guisinger

GUISINGER, Diane K., 72, a lifetime resident of Springfield, passed away suddenly at home on Wednesday, February 25, 2015. She was born April 12, 1942 the daughter of Harold and Goldie (Colegrove) Garwood. Diane first worked at The Guardian Bank (Security National) and Rike's before retiring from Family Practice Associates after 26 years of medical assistance. She was an avid reader. Diane also enjoyed many years of traveling throughout the United States and spending the winter months in Bradenton, Florida. She loved to joke and was part of a card club for over 50 years. She was very successful in that she was loved by her family and the many friends that she deeply loved. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Carl "Gus" Guisinger; three sons and spouses, Randy & Teresa Guisinger, Grants Pass, OR, Brad Guisinger, Springfield and Matt & Trice Guisinger, Sanford, FL; four grandchildren, Evan and Quentin Guisinger and Samantha and Preston Guisinger; one sister, Carol Kuntz, Xenia and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law, Bill Guisinger and sister-in-law, Sue Guisinger. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm Monday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Jeff Lee officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the National Parkinson's Foundation.
