Delora G. Farish

FARISH, Delora G., 89, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2024 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born December 27, 1934 in Hillsboro, OH the daughter of Bryan J. and Nellie A. (Oppy) Liming. She had worked as a sales manager at Sarah Coventry Jewelry for 30 years. Delora loved to dance and was an instructor at Arthur Murray Dance Studio for several years where she met her loving husband, Charles. She loved to travel, play the lottery and most of all, her family. Survivors include two daughters, Tangela & Mark Chester and Charmelle Wright; daughter-in-law, Gale Kennedy; eight grandchildren, Candice Chester (Michael Doogs) and Clayton Chester (Danyel Mershon), Mackenzie (Jeff) Schuerman, Spencer (Brittany) Wright, Melissa Kennedy, Patrick Kennedy, Anna Kennedy and Benjamin Kennedy; nine great grandchildren, Cora, Skye, Camp, Amelia, Coventry, Olivia, Jonathan, Isabelle, and Felix; two sisters, Bert Mobley and Cathy Griffith; and close friends, Jesse and Chris Stafford, and Shirley Freeman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, two sons, Steven Earl and Douglas Bryan Kennedy and two brothers, Arthur and Joe Liming. A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 pm on Saturday, November 9 at the Chester Family Farm Venue, 2480 Callahan Rd., South Vienna, OH 45369.
