Deborah K. Stokes

Stokes, Deborah K., 57, of South Vienna, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2016 in her home. She was born in Springfield on June 27, 1958 the daughter of Louis and Pauline Nace. She was a 1976 graduate of Northeastern High School and a 1979 graduate of Clark State. After having worked in retail and employment fields for many years she became involved in the Alpaca industry, operating as Alpacas, Posies and Pines and considered her 37 critters the fuzzy family, along with her dog, Sebastian and two cats. She always loved animals. Survivors include her loving husband, Brett; son, Brandon, the pride and joy of her life; brother, Richard (Phyllis) Nace; nephew, Travis (Belinda) Nace all of Des Moines, Iowa; in-laws, Don (Patty) Stokes of New Paris and sister-in-law, Stacey Lain of South Charleston. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kirsten Ciara Stokes, her parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles. Her funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Chaplain Pippa Hairston Turner officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Entombment will be in Rose Hill Mausoleum.
