Dawn Lee Childers

Childers, Dawn Lee, 57, ended her journey December 12, 2017. She was born October 9, 1960 to Donald and Georgia Reames. On October 14, 1978, she married the love of her life Arthur Childers. She is survived by her husband, Arthur W. Childers; sons, Artie (Jamie) Childers and Justin (Stacey) Childers; three grandchildren, Kiera, Aubrey and Ethan; sister, Becky (JP) Johnson; sister in law, Vicki Childers; four nieces, Amy (Dan) Bolton, Jodi (Rich) Rhodes, Malissa (Brian) Norton and Sarah (Scott) Ream. She was preceded in her death by her parents. Her family will receive friends on Saturday, January 6 from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. at The Derby at Windy Knoll. At 4:00 p.m. there will be a special service and video tribute. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Community Mercy Hospice.
