Rogers, David, 54, passed away unexpectedly in his home the morning of Sunday, May 29, 2016. He was born on March 24, 1962, in Springfield Ohio, son to Robert and Dolores (Kight) Rogers. David was a proud veteran of the Marine Corps, which has been a huge influence on his words and actions. After his service he spent over 15 years working in stone masonry, which was one of his passions. David always dedicated his life to his family, his home, his church, and his work, faithfully taking care of those he loved. He was a faithful member of First Christian Church, where he continued to devote himself to the Lord. Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Dawn Rogers; one son, Kyle Hake of Columbus, OH, and two daughters, Paige Hake of Hamilton, OH, and Hannah Rogers of Springfield, OH; one brother; Mark (Michelle) Rogers of Cedarville, OH and sister Vicki (John) Gordon; sister-in-law Melissa (Joseph) Moore and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by daughter, Brittany Rogers, and his parents. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Larry Moore officiating. Visitation will be held one and a half hours prior, beginning at 4:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
