David R. Fannin

Fannin, David, R., 73, of Springfield, died November 30, 2014 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born May 27, 1941 in Springfield, OH to Christopher Columbus and Faye (Flannery) Fannin. Dave retired as an electrician with Blommel Sign after 29 years of service. He was a true athlete and competitor, enjoying many years of golf and handball with his numerous friends. Survivors include his son David R. (Amy) Fannin, Jr.: two grandchildren, David R. III and Sadie Marie Fannin; his loving companion, Donna Richards; a sister, Helen (Bob) Wendt; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Irene Gafvert and Geneva Zeigler. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with family receiving friends two hours prior, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
