LEWIS, Danny K, USN/Ret., 69, of Springfield, lost his life after a brief battle with a debilitation illness on October 31, 2020 in Kettering Medical Center. He was born in Springfield on March 24, 1951 the son of Pearl I. and Mary L. (Fitzgerald) Lewis. After retiring from the Navy, he continued government services working for the state of Ohio with MRDS until fully retired. He is survived by his longtime companion and spouse of 34 years, Delfin Salcedo and three brothers, Steve, Rich and David Lewis. Some say a person is missed by how much wealth they left behind, but Dan will be missed by how much outpouring of love and compassion he gave all his family and friends. God love and keep him as he watches us from above. No services or gatherings are planned at this time but your love and prayers are welcome.
