Daniel L. Powers

Powers, Daniel L., 76, of Springfield, passed away Monday, November 28, 2016 in Oakwood Village. He was born December 8, 1939 in Springfield the son of Howard and Mary Ann (Mondabaugh) Powers. He retired from Navistar in 1990 after 31 years of service and later worked for Zebco for several years. He was a member of the Elks Lodge #51 and set-up fish tanks for Sporting and Fish Shows. Survivors include three daughters, Kim & Greg Massie of South Vienna, Cindy & James Money and Mindy Davis all of Springfield; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and one brother, Tom & Sylvia Powers. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Barbara. Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m.to 1:30 p.m. Friday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME. His funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Scott Griswold officiating. Burial will follow in Enon Cemetery.
