Daniel F. Roberts

ROBERTS, Daniel F., 73, of Springfield, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2014 in Kettering Medical Center. He was born October 26, 1940 in Springfield the son of Robert J. and Mabel A. (Babb) Roberts. Danny had worked for International Harvester as a General Forman in Department 55 for 43 years, retiring in 2001. Survivors include two children, Theodore "Ted" Roberts and Elizabeth Roberts, both of Cleveland; two stepdaughters, Barb Omer, South Carolina and Cathy Perron, Washington Twp.; several grandchildren; two brothers, Robert "Buddy" Roberts, Cincinnati and Patrick & Maggie Roberts, Columbus and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane, in 2000. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. A gathering of family and friends will be held one hour prior from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
