Corbin A. "Corey" McCown

McCown, Corbin A. "Corey", 40, of Springfield, passed away Friday, June 5, 2015 in his home. Corbin was born July 29, 1974 in Fayetteville, NC to Michael and Rebecca (Clay) McCown. He was employed at Coleman's Lawn Equipment as a Service Technician for several years. Survivors include one daughter, Kelsie Michaela; his mother, Rebecca (Doug) Strahler; a sister, Marcie (Tim) Bobst; a stepsister, Michelle (Bobby) Tittle; a stepbrother, Eddie (Julie) Strahler; grandparents, Ronald and Joanne McCown; step-grandmother, Dora Jane Strahler; nephews and nieces, Michael, Levi, Cayden, Phillip, Jaelynn and Elizabeth "Lizzy" Smith; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father; and grandparents, Lawrence and Dorothy Clay. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4-7 pm in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Rick Clos officiating. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
