Conwell G. "Connie" Kuhn

KUHN, Conwell G. 'Connie", 103, of Springfield, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2015 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born March 15, 1912 in Shippensburg, PA the son of Harry and Alice (Baker) Kuhn. Connie was a sales manager for Truesdale Candy Co. for a number of years retiring in 1975. After retiring he went back to work for Sayers and Northside Appliance stores. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer. Survivors include two children and spouses, Richard (Linda) Kuhn, Springfield and Jacqueline (Richard) Parke, Bethesda, MD; one sister, Pearl Cump, Hagerstown, MD and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Judy in 2008, one sister and three brothers. The family would like to thank Dr. Darr for the excellent care provided to Connie. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Dave Hill officiating. Visitation will be held one-hour prior beginning at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Northside Baptist Church, 2425 Derr Rd., Springfield, Ohio 45503.
