Collin Edward James Jenkins

Jenkins, Collin Edward James, 9, of Springfield, passed away unexpectedly Monday, August 18, 2014. He was born in Springfield on January 28, 2005. He was a member of New Life Church and loved wrestling and basketball. Survivors include his mother, Sanceia (Newman) Jenkins and Walter Bostic; three brothers, Bryan Newman, Walter Bostic, III and Austin Bostic; maternal grandmother, Doris (Ron) Beaver; aunt and uncle, Christian "Nikki" (Nathaniel) Newman; uncle, Christopher Neal and great uncle, Pernell Banks and many cousins, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Brian Newman and his great great grandmother, Mary Smith. His funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Terry Phillips officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service.
