Caylor, Clarence Douglas “Doug”, 75 of Springfield, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024. He was born in Springfield on December 4, 1948 the son of Robert and Georgia (Hyme) Caylor. He was a life member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, life member of V.F.W. Post 1031, member of the American Legion Post 6, a 1967 graduate of Catholic Central and was a Vietnam veteran serving in the U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife, Carole (Rutroff) of 55 years; two children, Todd (Tina) Caylor and Christine Caylor Brown; brother, Father Dennis Caylor; four grandchildren, Scott D., Robert J., Lily C. Brown and Todd D. Caylor, Jr.; two great granddaughters, Magnolia and Azalea and three sisters-in-law, LindaCaylor, Mary (Terry) Weld and Linda (Tom) Bostic and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Michael Caylor and an infant sister, Margaret. His funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Visitation will be held two hours prior, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
